  • Gem and Jai. What an amazing job. We really enjoyed our three night stay at Makers place. Almost new, superbly equipped apartments. Location is superb as well as within walking distance to a couple of amazing restaurants. The beds are very hard. Would benefit from a topper. Otherwise our new favourite spot in the City.

  • This accommodation, as advertised, is nothing short of perfect: Gem and Jai have been very responsive on the WhatsApp for all the queries I had and Molly in reception is always lovely and helpful. The place itself is spotless and decorated with great taste and elegance, there is nothing cheap about it. The kitchen is very well equipped with very sharp utensils and a great selection of pans and crockery. I am staying in these flats for work and I could not feel more at home.

Do you offer short-term and long-term stays in Birmingham?

Yes. Our serviced apartments in Birmingham are made for long-term stays as well as weekly ones: book by the week or by the month, for as long as you need, direct with us at our best available rate.

How is a long stay different from renting a flat in Birmingham?

There's nothing to furnish and nothing to set up. Your residence is ready to live in from the day you arrive, with the bills and fast Wi-Fi included, housekeeping services and our team on hand day and night, and your stay runs for the length you choose, from a week to several months.

What's included in a stay?

Every residence is fully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi and the bills included. Beds are made up with crisp linen, and towels are ready for your arrival. Housekeeping services are available during your stay, and our team is on hand day and night.

We have three buildings in Birmingham: Makers Place, 12 Ludgate Hill, Birmingham B3 1FT, a 5 min walk from St Chads (Tram); The Mercian, 218 Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1AY, a 2 min walk from Brindleyplace (Tram); The Octagon, 1 Great Charles Street Queensway, Birmingham B3 1JJ, a 6 min walk from Library (Tram).

Can families and groups stay together?

Yes, families are welcome. Our buildings in Birmingham have one-, two- and three-bedroom residences sleeping up to 6, and one booking can hold up to 6 residences side by side in the same building, for up to 16 guests.

Are there better rates for longer stays?

Yes. Extended stays come at discounted rates, and booking direct always gets our best available rate.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00. We can sometimes arrange an early check-in or a late check-out: just ask our team.

Is there parking?

At The Mercian: complimentary parking at Five Ways Car Park, subject to availability: send us your car's registration at least 48 hours before you arrive. For our other buildings, ask our team.

Can my company book a stay for staff or a project team?

Yes. For relocations, contracts and project teams we offer preferential rates for extended stays and larger groups: request a quote on our Corporate stays page and our team will come back to you.
